Love the Woolworths Mastercard as it provides me with the opportunity to rack up frequent flyer points every time I go shopping or make any sort of purchase. I can also link it with my everyday rewards card and double my frequent flyers!! Full review

YesFRIENDLY, TRUSTWORTHY AND RELIABLE. Made an unusual transaction on credit card and they rang to make sure it was me who authorised it....at least they are keeping an eye on fraudsters! Full review

The rechargeable MasterCard is a great idea for travelling and controlling credit expenses. You can recharge the card through BPay then use it for expenses when you don't want the card linked to your bank account, or when you want to limit how much you (or someone else) can spend with the card. Very reasonable recharge rates and much handier than a fixed amount pre-paid card.

The main reason I signed-up for the Woolworths Everyday Money card was because I can pay at the pump when filling up the car - for less than one dollar a week (annual fee), it is well worth it to avoid the stress of filling up with 2 (or more) small, often sleeping, children in the car! They can stay safe in the car and no need to keep the kids under control while lining up (or feel guilty for leaving them in the car while running into pay). I do often wonder if other customers think I'm doing a runner! You're fuel discount (for spending at the supermarket) is also applied at the pump. Highly recommend this card to all parents with children, no more stress when refuelling. I also use it now for all Woolworths purchases and receive a gift card for (on average) $40 every few months. But make sure you use the gift card within 3 months (I realised 2 weeks too late that 1 of my gift cards had expired grrr)

We tend to shop at Woolworths so this credit card (Woolworth's Everday Rewards Mastercard) gives us the opportunity to earn Qantas FF points on products we would usually buy as it is linked to our Woolworths Everday Rewards Card; and we get 1 point to every dollar spent AND bonus points with special deals at Woolworths, BWS, Big W, Dick Smith. It gives us the option to pay at the bowser at Woolworths branded Caltex petrol Stations so we don't have to go into the store itself and queue to pay at the counter (and you still get points or can use the fuel discount vouchers you earn on Woolworths/BWS store purchases over $30). We can make payments at a Woolworths store which is handy if we ever have extra cash - otherwise we just pay by BPAY. The annual fee has paid for itself in points and because we pay off the full monthly balance we have never paid interest but like all credit cards I guess the interest rate would have to be a consideration if you only pay the minimum monthly balance. Also with merchants such as airlines, hotels etc charging to use credit cards sometimes it's good to consider paying by other means as the value of the points may be less than the cost of the transaction but that's for other merchants and apply whichever card you use - there's no fees at the Woolworths group stores. We'll often shop elsewhere (eg ALDI) for other lines but we can still use the credit card and get points on those purchases too so that's good as it stops you from blindly paying more if you can buy it cheaper elsewhere.

I love this card as everytime you use it you get 1 point for using it anywhere. 2 points for shopping at Woolworths and Big W. So at the moment I get a $60 gift card automatically sent to me each quarter. Also it is great buying petrol at Woolworths petrol stations. You can swipe your card at the pump so it saves time and is great when you have the kids in the car and don't have to leave them to go inside to pay.

I think this program has the best qantas freq flyer reward points for under $100 a year, they also have double points promos and is so easy to review what points you have and easy to review your statement on line. I guess the main con is if you want lots of points you need to mainly shop at woolie owned stores. I have recommended this to a family member.

This is a great card to use for everything possible, to accrue maximum points towards a gift card which arrives in the mail three times a year and can be used in Woolworths/Safeway supermarkets and a few other places. BUT a great downside to the card is that Woolworths are SO slow to update the account online with details of purchases, or to allocate payments onto the card. It can take almost a week for the details of a purchase to appear among the transactions. And it usually takes almost a full week for a BPay payment from my credit union to be allocated to and available on the Woolworths credit card, so I often get close to my limit and have to use my other credit card for a while. Catches me out regularly. I wonder why it still hasn't been fixed? Plus the website is regularly unavailable for a while at around 11 o'clock or later each night. Odd.

Cheap fees, but hidden charges. For example, it is not apparent that paying by BPay the full balance 2 days before it's due can still cost a $35 fee and potentially $100s in interest as BPay payments are not credited for up to 5 days. Web site is poor and customer service is atrocious (limited hours and many staff with a limited grasp of English - most likely offshore). Rewards only credited every 4 months and then only in chunks, not everything that you've earned.
