  The savings account is much the same as the other banks. Closure of branches has made it very difficult to deposit cheques as not everyone does direct deposit. Staff are very helpful if you know what question to ask but the overall bank has lost t...       Full review

  Bankmecu have always been extremely accessible re any queries or help needed via phone and now there is a physical branch in Bendigo, everything just got even easier. Staff are always fantastic to deal with and actually help when there is an issue...       Full review 

  Bankmecu have always been extremely accessible re any queries or help needed via phone and now there is a physical branch in Bendigo, everything just got even easier. Staff are always fantastic to deal with and actually help when there is an issue. The bank phoned me when there was a concern with an internet purchase and phoned a second time to suggest I cancel my card and obtain a new one to avoid illegal deductions being made. How fantastic is that! They certainly have the customers best interests at heart.

  MECU staff are always friendly and make the customer feel important whenever contact is made either face to face or over the phone.   I think they charge way too much for fees. I originally went with them because they didn't charge withdrawal, eftpos etc fees. Now I pay more than I would at any bank. Maybe it's time to switch banks       Full review

  I like this savings account that we have its all done on line. The inter rates are god. All in all hapy with the account. Just need to make sure the bank had ur tax file number or they take money out.       Full review

  Account fees are too high. I have been incorrectly charged excessive over the limit and dishonour fees before. Once I pointed this out I did receive a refund, however it would have gone unnnoticed had I not brought it to their attention.       Full review

  Despite all the credit union hype, the fees on these everyday accounts are now so much more than any of the major banks - you even pay $1.50 to use their own redi atm network, but have to as they charge you $2 to take your money out over the count...       Full review

  I like the credit union as they have member rewards points which are deducted from my monthly fees. They keep customers informed by email and they even have a yearly footy tipping competition. They do not charge for overdrawn cheques if the mone...       Full review 

  I like the credit union as they have member rewards points which are deducted from my monthly fees. They keep customers informed by email and they even have a yearly footy tipping competition. They do not charge for overdrawn cheques if the money is deposited later the same day to cover the amount and they do not dishonour direct debit charges if there are insufficient funds.
