2No branches. I was told I could deposit and withdraw at Australian Post Offices- but that is false. It's very hard to deposit any money unless it a direct transfer. Their fees are very high if you have a payment bounce ($40, like Suncorp). – Cornelia from Queensland, an AMP savings account customer. Reviewed 2 months ago

5Its great to finally have a product that does everything in the one account. I'm so sick of having to do transfers between an online and a linked account just to get the best possible interest. The AMP First is the second bank account I've found that does it all in the one account. Of course the catch is the $5 monthly fee. I was on the verge of opening one until another of my banks increased their interest rate to 4.55%. Although this other account has all the features of AMP first it doesn't include a cheque acount and no facility to even deposit cheques from WA. As it charges for ATM, Eftpos and direct deposits, I will probably make use of its free unlimited internet pay anyone service to transfer money into another of my lesser accounts to pay bills or access money. Bit of a shame really but given the choice of paying fees or taking a few minutes to transfer my money, my scrooge instincts take over and I find myself taking the cheapest route every time. – Chris from Western Australia, an AMP savings account customer.
