St George is Australia’s fifth largest bank, and has merged with Westpac to create a banking mega force. The merger hasn’t change the St George brand, which has been retained along with the bank’s focus on customer service and community support. My online direct saver is great! I can transfer funds in and out at my leisure. Interest is calculated daily and paid monthly. Only con, transfers must be done by 4pm to be recorded. Thats it!

At the end of the day all banks are pretty much the same. However, i like St george becasue they are still relatively small and they seem to care about the consumer as opposed to being another number. Whenever you phone, you get a real person answer your call too.

I like St George compared to a lot of other banks. They are friendly and easy to deal with and they treat you as though you are intelligent. They are well trained and know the answers! I would recommend them anytime.
