  • Credit crunch leaves Heff's sextravaganza plans limp

Hugh Hefner has become the latest sad victim of the economic crisis and has been forced to cancel this year’s SuperBowl Sextravaganza.

The infamous annual romp has had to be cancelled after the Playboy empire saw its sales decline more than 70 per cent in recent months.

According to British paper the Daily Star, the problems at Playboy Mansion do not stop there, with rumours abounding that Hef has had to start laying off his bunnies.

An insider known to the paper said that “only the top brass has known for a while how bad things have been for Hef recently,” although those in the know have been biting their nails over the future of the empire for quite a while.

It seems that Hef’s problems aren’t limited to the financial realm either, with rumours circulating that his favourite bunnies have been cheating on the octogenarian.

His “No.1 girlfriend” Holly Madison has been linked with twisted magician Criss Angel, while Kendra Wilkinson is reportedly involved with football star Hank Baskett.ADNFCR-1761-ID-19001790-ADNFCR
