Madge and A-Rod on the hunt for houses?

Just weeks after her fast-track divorce from Guy Ritchie, rumours are abounding that Madonna is helping alleged beau Alex Rodriguez add to his property portfolio.

According to sources known to Nine MSN, Madge was nudging A-Rod to a house that allow the pair a little privacy away from the prying eyes of paparazzi.

She was reportedly spotted with the Yankees star shopping for homes in the immediate area of her New York apartment.

The source said: “She wanted Alex to have a big house that would be suitable for kids and she didn’t want a building with a nosy doorman who would talk.”

They added that while the pair did not want to move in together, they did want to be close to one another.

Meanwhile, here in Oz, beauty queen Jennifer Hawkins has been proving that she isn’t just a pretty face and in fact has a keen eye for property.

Just weeks after moving into her luxury home in Gordons Bay, Sydney, she was spotted taking a tour around the Henderson St complex in Bondi.
