Simple, safe and sleek: the ANZ online makeover

ANZ customers would have noticed something a little different if they jumped on their bank’s website or app over the weekend. That’s because ANZ have given their online banking systems a design makeover to improve user experience with consistency and easy navigating. 

What prompted ANZ to improve things for customers online was the increasing popularity of using smartphones to make transactions. According to the Big Four bank, smartphones are expected to account for 90% of internet traffic by 2020. 

That’s why ANZ’s fresh new look is consistent and transferable across smartphones, tablets and computers.

Businesses will also benefit from the new online banking functions too, with more flexibility to make and accept payments. ANZ encouraged their business clients to take the time to learn all about the new features to make the most out of the upgrade.

The introduction of ANZ Shield is a new security feature customers will be able to use to instantly reset their passwords and increase pay anyone limits. 

Navigating online has been improved by keeping it simple with three options to choose from for users, of payments, profiles and products. 

Customers can also choose from two interfaces when they login online and use the app. To keep them in the loop, each user will have the option to take a tour of the new features when they first login.
