ANZ launches business banking app for iOS
Article by Mozo
ANZ has reacted to the growing demand for mobile banking services by launching a new application, which can be downloaded from the Apple App store.
Bosses at the company confirmed the ANZ Transactive – Mobile function will allow business banking customers to keep a tighter grip on their cash management.
Firms can use the app to remotely monitor real-time account balances, approve or reject payments and view current and previous-day transactions.
The app is released just days after ANZ announced it was keeping the interest rates on its business loans at their current level, following the Reserve Bank of Australia's decision not to lower the national cash rate.
ANZ Transactive – Mobile has been launched as part of the firm's wider "Banking on Australia" programme, which is aimed at making its services more accessible to corporate customers.
The bank's global head of payments and cash management Nigel Dobson said: "We're serious about making banking easier and maintaining a leadership position, and planning for future mobile enhancements is underway, including enhanced payments and FX rates functionality."
