Christmas car shopping caution

By Mozo ·

Australians are being urged to think carefully and do their homework before making any festive season purchases on a new vehicle or car insurance this Christmas.

A new Australian website for car buyers DutchAuctionAuto.com.au, has made a statement that Australians should be wary of pressure from car dealers, being over whelmed with options and distractions that could obscure their judgement when purchasing a new car.

"The purchase of a new vehicle is likely to be the second most expensive purchase anyone can make and buying a new car can be stressful, really stressful," according to Ms Shoshi Vorcheimer CEO of DutchAuctionAuto.com.au.

The website advises that car shoppers should weigh up their options, be realistic on their expectations, set an ultimate price, avoid impulse buying and research the vehicle before making any brash decions on a purchase.

There's never been a better time to buy a new vehicle and the latest figures confirm that Australians are purchasing new cars in record numbers," Ms Vorcheimer said.

Similarly car shoppers should further investigate their car insurance to find themselves the most suitable option and avoid paying a premium on policy features that they are likely to never use or claim on.
