Aussie star 'is best-value-for money'
People with high interest savings may be interested to learn that one Aussie starlet has been voted Hollywood’s best value-for-money actress.
Naomi Watts was ranked by Forbe’s magazine’s annual list as being the star who will give people more for their buck.
According to the publication, she will make investors US$44 (AUS$49) for every $1 she is paid.
The list was compiled by assessing whether the actors had appeared in at least three films in the past five years that opened in 500 cinemas.
A return-on-investment figure was reached by weighing up how much the movies brought in at the box office against how much the actors earn.
In this light, it is thought her appearance in King Kong, remade by New Zealand director Peter Jackson – which made some US$550 million contributed to her ranking.
People looking for value on their money may choose to look for high interest savings or compare cheap credit cards.
There may be more individuals looking for good deals at the moment, since realestate.com’s recent Consumer Insights Report suggests people are being increasingly realistic about what they can afford.
