ANZ announces scheme to ease switching of bank accounts

Aussies with their own company who are considering going online to compare business debit cards will be able to change their transaction account with greater ease as they only need to sign one application form using the new system.

"We've designed ANZ OneSwitch from the customers' point of view and made switching to ANZ a faster and simpler experience," said general manager of business banking at the firm Jeremy Dean.

He added that it is vital that banks work to find ways to improve the standard of service they offer to their customers, remarking that this is particularly important during the "uncertain economic environment".

Earlier this month, Commonwealth Bank announced that it will match the advertised interest rates of any of its three major competitors – National Australia Bank, ANZ and Westpac.
