Apple Mac users 'more likely to shop online'
Apple Mac users are more likely to purchase goods online than people who own a Windows device, an innovative new study has found.
According to Roy Morgan Research, 51 per cent of Aussies who have the former said they generally buy something online every month, compared to just 37 per cent of Windows computer users.
Many people have been forced to reassess how much they spend on luxury items, as the cost of essentials such as electricity, food and fuel has risen sharply in recent years.
However, this latest survey clearly shows that Aussies are still more than willing to use their debit cards to snap up goods via the internet.
Not only are Apple Mac owners buying items more frequently, but the study also discovered that they generally spend 19 per cent more than Windows users.
"Apple iPhone owners are also more likely to shop online using their phone, when compared to other brand smartphone owners," commented Roy Morgan's industry director of mobile, internet and technology Andrew Braun.
