Origin Energy offers cash vouchers to attract customers
With the temperatures going up steadily, energy providers are competing to offer customers attractive deals to keep their bills in check. Keeping up with the trend, Origin Energy is offering cash vouchers worth up to $200 to new as well as existing customers.

The latest offer by Origin is valid in VIC, NSW, SA and the ACT and gives new customers cash vouchers worth up to $200 if they switch both their gas and electricity to Origin. Customers switching only one service to Origin can still get a voucher worth $75. Existing customers who already source one service from Origin, can be eligible to receive a voucher if they switch their second fuel (gas or electricity) to the provider online. The value can be redeemed towards future bills.
Origin’s general manager of retail marketing, sales and services Rebekah O’Flaherty said the deal is being offered to win new customers and keep them, reported The Advertiser.
“It gives customers a voucher they can choose to use when they need it most — this could be in summer when people are more likely to go overboard on holidays,’’ she said.
“We are committed to better serving our customers through these offers and through recent initiatives like extending call centre hours to Saturdays and getting rid of exit fees on all our residential energy plans.”
