I’ve always just believed that al long as the lights are on with few issues, it didn’t matter who sent the bill. Following recent storms in Victoria (obviously not due to any fault of the billing company), we continued to receive weekly usage estimates, something I actually had previously valued as a customer, telling me how much electricity we were using and the estimated cost…… The issue is that we had No electricity for 4 weeks. I realise that it’s probably computer generated etc but this has really bothered me. Over 200,000 people were without electricity in and around us and some had to remain at home during that time. Receiving bill estimates when no service is available is a disgrace. I suppose a positive is that there’s a discount for bills being paid on time so we appreciate that.
i do think all power companies are about the same, if one has a better price for electricity then why would one stay?
Compared to my previous provider, Simply Energy rates are better suited to income earners in my bracket…highly recommend them.
Great company, friendly service and reasonable prices. Overall very happy with the service they provide to my household.
