A US-based company could pay off Aussies' home loans in exchange for some unique advertising opportunities.
Brainiacs From Mars has started a scheme in America that sees the firm paint people's properties in bright colours which contain the firm's logo, news.com.au reports.
Bosses at the enterprises have revealed that they are keen to take the initiative down under and struggling households may see it as a good way to alleviate some of the financial pressure they are currently under.
The offer only applies to people who own their own home and the company will pay a person's mortgage on a month-by-month basis. As soon as the deal is cancelled, the business removes the slogans and repaints the house.
Representative David Le told the news provider that the organisation had already received a number of applications from Australian mortgage holders.
Aussies are exploring a number of avenues in order to drive down the cost of home ownership and National Features recently reported that a Citibank study had shown that one in ten people downsized their property last year in order to free up some cash.
