The loan also comes with a bunch of useful features for extra flexibility.

With Smart Booster Investor Bundle, loans.com.au is a to reward investors with savings and take the hassle out of managing multiple loans. 

It works like this: if you’re currently servicing an owner occupied loan with loans.com.au and take out an investment loan on top, you’ll be treated to a super low 1.99% variable rate (2.71% comparison rate*) on the investment loan for the first 12 months. Once the first 12 months are up, the rate to revert to an ongoing variable rate of 2.74% (2.71% comparison rate*) for the remainder of the loan. 

Borrowers will be able to take out loans between $50,000 and $1,000,000 as long as their loan-to-value ratio (LVR) is under 80%, and they'll have the choice between making principal and interest or interest-only repayments.

You’ll find there are plenty of features which provide flexibility, such as the ability to make additional repayments towards your loan balance without incurring any penalties. And if you decide those extra funds could be put to better use elsewhere, you’ll have unlimited access to a redraw facility. An offset account is also available, however, this will add an extra 0.10% to your interest rate if you do take it up.

Who is it good for

As mentioned above, this deal is only available to existing loans.com.au customers who are currently servicing an owner occupied loan. Specifically, your owner occupied loan must have an LVR of up to 80% and structured so that you’re making principal and interest repayments.

Any catches

When applying, your application must be settled within a reasonable time frame, usually within 60 days of receiving your loan documents. While there are no ongoing fees, there are a few one-off charges you’ll need to be aware of including a $300 discharge fee, $220 valuation fee and $300 settlement fee.
