The Resimac Prime Flex home loan has a range of interest rate tiers based on your loan-to-value ratio (LVR) as a borrower. For instance, if you’re an owner occupier making principal and interest repayments on loan amounts between $150,000 and $2 million, rates start from 6.39% p.a. (6.69% p.a. comparison rate*) for up to 70% LVR
In other words, while Resimac gives bigger rate discounts to homebuyers or refinancers with a larger deposit or higher home equity, though it also caters to borrowers with a deposit as low as 5% of the property value.
The Prime Flex home loan is big on bells and whistles, giving borrowers access to handy features such as a 100% offset account - a tool that can help you reduce the interest you pay on your principal. While the Resimac Prime Flex home loan has no application or discharge fee, there are a couple of upfront and ongoing fees to account for - a $330 valuation fee and a $299 yearly service fee.

I'm not feeling very confidence in Resimac lender. Contract of Sale was signed and "Formal Approval" was granted Feb 2021 by Resimac in writing. Settlement was delay by Vendor for 8 months. Broker communicated with Resimac and inform them of the delay and was told - all was in order in regards to documents and there has been no changes to my financial situation. 22 hours until settlement and I was told, Resimac needs to re-accessed the loan documents again, basically I have had to reapply for the loan process and it will take at least 3 weeks. Vendor asked for penalty interest 12% on purchased priced. Just wish they had told me the formal approval loan will expired at 6 months. Not 22 hours to settlement and then tell me.

Excellent rate. Just have to be wary that redrawing from the offset account can take a day - due to them being a securitised lender and not a deposit taking lender.
