Apia crowned most recommended car insurance provider at Engaged Marketing Awards

Apia has been named the most recommended car insurance provider at the Engaged Marketing Awards for the third year in a row.

The award is based on the votes of more than 6,000 Australian consumers who were asked about their experience with insurers, and how likely they are to recommend the brand they’re using.

The study only examines brands with a sample size of 100 or higher.

Apia, which specialises in insurance plans for the over 50s, also won the award for most recommended property insurance provider for the fifth year in a row.

Apia Brand Manager Travis Hughes said the provider was “thrilled” by the awards, and that their success came down to understanding the needs of their customers.

“We’ve implemented a range of initiatives specifically tailored to the over 50s life stage, including the recently launched Apia Private Health Insurance as well as always offering our customers the ability to speak to an Apia representative 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” he said.

“At Apia the people that matter most to us are our customers, so we would like to thank them for making Apia the number one choice for property and motor insurance. It means a lot to us.”
