Cost of petrol set to drop over Easter
Car insurance customers in Australia might have a little more money to spend this Easter as the cost of petrol is expected to decline during this period.
According to the National Roads and Motorists association, those who pay attention this week could save up to 10c per litre, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Alan Cadd, managing director of petrol data company Informed Sources, asserted that today (April 19th) is likely to be the most expensive point and that prices are expected to drop later this week.
"If the cycle follows its usual pattern, it is likely the prices will be down for Friday and Saturday," he commented.
Those looking to minimise the amount they spend on transport may find that going online to compare car insurance is another effective way to bring down the cost of owning a vehicle.
Earlier this week, figures from the Australian Institute of Petroleum revealed that prices had risen to a 30-month high of 144.6c per litre, reported the Australian Associated Press.
