Must knows about transferring money with BFX Money Transfer

Whether you’re wanting to do a one-off money transfer or you run a small business and need to make regular payments to a supplier, there are few things you’ll need to know about BFX Australia:

  • Delivery times: Like most other international currency transfers, it generally takes 1-2 business days for the funds to hit the account from the time of transfer, though it can take longer for less frequently traded currencies.
  • Transaction restrictions: While there isn’t any limit on how much you can transfer, BFX has a $250 minimum. But keep in mind, any transfers above $10,000 could require additional documents and verification due to anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Transparent fee structure: BFX charges a flat $10 service fee for each transaction, but it can be waived with transfers of more than $5,000. They also charge a fee on top of the interbank exchange rate in order to make a profit. But even so, BFX offers super competitive currency conversion rates.
  • Customer support: After registering your personal details and entering the type of transaction you want to make a BFX consultant will contact you to finish your application and help set up your first transfer. Plus, if you need any help along the way, they’re based in Australia, so it’s easy to get in contact online, over the phone or in branch.
