Westpac offers loan holiday for Lincoln customers

Westpac has announced a raft of measures to help Port Lincoln residents whose lives have been disrupted by the recent bushfires.

Among the measures unveiled by the bank is a home loan payment deferral option, in addition to the opportunity to have credit card limits increased.

Meanwhile, business customers will also be able to restructure their existing bank loans without incurring the usual fees.

Other relief measures offers to those affected by the fires include the refinancing of personal loans to give a new fixed interest rate, while credit card repayments can also be deferred.

Company spokesperson Peter Logan told Australian Associated Press: “We understand how situations like this can affect our customers’ financial circumstances and at this time they do not need the additional burden of worrying about financial commitments.”

In other developments, Westpac also announced earlier this week that it would offer a disaster relief package to Fijian residents affected by the flooding there.ADNFCR-1761-ID-18975927-ADNFCR
