When I decided to take my first solo trip overseas recently, I was certain I wanted medical insurance in case I fell over Niagara falls whilst taking that amazing shot, or getting charged by an elephant in Africa which was close to happening. 1300 insurance had my back, no matter what silly antics I got up to. Their website was easy to navigate, tidy and easy to use, giving me an instant quote, which had so much better prices than others, whilst giving me the same cover as the more expensive companies. I was so impressed at the premiums and the price that I booked my travel insurance there and then! A year later, I needed to extend my cover, as I travelled longer than expected. I had to call them from overseas, which is difficult for anyone, but their friendly staff were easy to contact, took no time to answer my call and made me feel at ease knowing that they had my back. Lucky learning how to ski in Canada didn't land me with a broken leg, but even if it did, I would be pleased to deal with such a smooth running company. I recommended them to all my young friends for their un-complicated manner. The last thing I want to do is deal with a difficult insurance company whilst overseas, leave that job to my mum!

As I wasn't travelling to a third world country, I was happy to know that that I could claim for lost luggage more so than worrying about medical exspenses. I went through all the options and found their level of cover compared with the price as the best fit for. I wouldn't hesitate in using them again and would be happy to tell my friends and family to use them as well.
