Beware the Paypal rewards card. There are major issues with the use of these cards and the background tech between Paypal and Citi. I have had many unsuccessful transactions where the payment is not made and you may not be aware. This includes transactions on Ebay and on Paypal itself where a pay in 4 payment was unsuccessful despite previous payments being made on the card. The tile to access the card is completely missing from the Paypal app and the only way I have been able to access it is in a browser. Paypal customer service is appalling. They are virtually un-contactable but after persevering I was able to chat online with someone (whos first language was not english) and they had no idea what I was talking about and did not even make any attempt to resolve issues. The additional card is useless as you cant activate them correctly and you will have no pin number for it as you have no access to the citi banking part of it. I have also had various online chats with Citi about this which is a known issue to them. They give the standard spiel of thanks for your understanding but offer no solution. After reading my own review its clear the only thing I can do is close the account.
