My bank is a Credit Union. They are not there for the benefit of investors. All profits remain with the owners....us the customer.
Sutherland credit union rewards the rich and not the poor. If you have less than $5000 in your account, you are only allowed 5 "Free" Atm transactions per month, and this includes direct debits. Once you exceed then you are charged an excessive ATM usage penalty. However if you have more than $5000 in your account then "Hello" you are then allowed 8 transactions per month. So the poor hard yakka makes one cash withdrawal per week, and one fuel payment by eftpos non credit, and you have to pay penalty fees. Phone service is great, but they wont help you with the penalties, other than tell you that you need 5 grand.
