NAB bank account customers to get new mobile apps
Aussies considering going online to compare bank accounts may be tempted by a National Australia Bank (NAB) product, as the financial institution has revealed that it is upgrading its mobile apps.
Customers will be able to view the NAB Twitter feed through the new software, which will also feature improved navigation and access to various online tools.
It is the fourth occasion on which the firm has updated the apps for the iPhone and iPad and the third time it has done so for its Android software.
Chris Smith, general manager digital and direct banking at NAB, commented: "As more Australians are going online for information and advice, it's important that we continuously improve so that our customers can do their banking anytime, anywhere and on any device."
He revealed that more than 30 per cent of the company's customers access their savings accounts and other products through the internet.
This comes after a study conducted by Google revealed that Australia has the second-highest level of smartphone penetration in the world.
