Australia has always been a popular destination for foreign students and it seems that the country could soon receive an influx of youngsters from the UK.

The government there has allowed universities to ramp up their tuition fees by a huge amount and this has forced many people to either move abroad or give up on further education altogether.

According to the UK-based Leicester Mercury, an event was recently held in the city that was attended by representatives of Australian universities, who were aiming to promote the nation to fed-up British people.

Of course, those who do choose to head down under will still need to ensure their finances are in order.

As soon as they enrol on a course, youngsters should compare student bank accounts in order to find a package that best suits their needs.

It is important to see which banks are offering the best overdraft facilities and it is also worth assessing the online services provided by each institution.
