Students are more than happy to live in Australian cities, a new study by a UK-based research organisation has suggested.
Although Paris was deemed to be the most "student-friendly" conurbation in the world, both Sydney and Melbourne featured in the top ten, the Advertiser reports.
Adelaide was voted as the 29th best place for academics, primarily because of the relatively low cost of living.
Indeed, affordable accommodation across the city has helped those who are looking to find the best student banking options, leaving youngsters with more spare cash to spend elsewhere.
Chief executive officer at Business SA Peter Vaughn told the news provider that he wants Adelaide to become more appealing to international students in the near future.
This could be made far more achievable if the local universities sign up to a new nationwide scheme that makes it easier for foreign academics to get their visa applications processed more quickly.
