Aussies who have been searching for overseas travel money deals online have been told not to be concerned about booking flights with Qantas.

The major airline has been threatened by industrial action from three different groups – the licensed engineers' union, Transport Workers' Union and pilots' union – in recent weeks, which has caused many Australian holidaymakers to think twice about flying with the firm.

However, Fair Work Australia has ruled that no strike action could take place for up to four years and the Transport Workers' Union has vowed not to appeal the decision.

Qantas group executive Olivia Wirth welcomed the news and urged Aussies to book their holidays with the company.

"Our message to customers is that you can continue to book with Qantas with absolute confidence," she commented.

A recent report by IBISWorld suggested Qantas and other Aussie airlines could be in for a busy time over the next few years, as more people are expected to book holidays due to an increase in disposable income among Australians.
