According to bosses at LivingSocial Escapes, people can make massive savings by securing group bookings, rather than taking an overseas trip as a couple or on your own.
The organisation said that gathering a group of family or friends together is the best way to go if you are struggling financially, as trips can be bought for as little as ten per cent of standard retail prices.

One of the best ways to book a discounted holiday is to remain flexible. Due to the huge savings, the demand for group travel is high, so you may have to compromise on when and where you go to if you want to receive rock bottom rates.
Last year, tourism experts at Ryerson University said that the earlier you book a break, the more likely you are to have spare money to spend on your travel cash card.
