With no online purchase fee and $0 reload fees, the Cash Passport can definitely be dubbed as a great value prepaid travel card, in fact it took out a best value prepaid travel card award in the Mozo Experts Choice Awards. You can load up to 11 currencies onto the card and even if you pay with a currency that isn't on the card, no worries as a 0% cross currency conversion fee applies.

Key features:

The Cash Passport Platinum Prepaid Currency Card is packed with a great range of travel friendly features. It's got no purchase fee online, no reload fee for when you need a cash top up on your card and your choice of loading up to 10 currencies (perfect for that mega round the world trip!).

Unlike other prepaid cards that'll charge you around 3% for paying with a currency that isn't loaded onto the card, the Cash Passport comes with a 0% cross currency conversion fee. What's not to love?

The Cash Passport has a minimum load amount of $100 and those big spenders out there will be happy to hear you can load up to a whopping $100,000AUD and you'll even be rewarded with some tasty bonus balances for bigger reloads. Reload between $1,500 and $1,999.99 and you'll earn an extra $30, between $2,000 and $4999.99 and Australia Post are going to give you an extra $80 and add more than $5,000 to your Cash Passport to receive $200 worth of free holiday money. The Cash Passport Prepaid Currency Card is accepted wherever MasterCard is, plus you'll have the peace of mind of MasterCard's zero liability policy. There's also a fairly standard 2.95% withdrawal fee if you take out money from an ATM in Australia, while ATMs overseas are free apart from the ATM's own direct charge.

Who it's good for:

It's the perfect travel companion for anyone who wants the security of locking in their rate on a prepaid card free of the bite of high load fees. Not to mention, it's also a tempting offering for any one who likes freebies!

Any catches?

Keep in mind if you want to cancel the card, a $10 closure fee applies.
