As I am 63 and my interest only loan was approaching renewal I try every other lending institute in the market. Bendigo Bank was extraordinarily accommodating and welcoming. I had never missed a payment in my life or was late and they looked at that personal approach. I will be strongly recommending Bendigo Bank to anyone.
Bendigo Bank are one of my favourite providers. They excel in customer service. Always efficient, understanding and I think what I like most of all they are attentive to the point of some officers greeting me by name when I walk in. Bendigo Bank is truly the Community Bank.

Disappointing International Transaction Experience I've been a loyal customer of this bank, regularly spending over $5,000 a month. However, I recently had a frustrating experience with an international transaction. The transaction failed, and while I did get my money back, the bank still charged me international transaction fees for the failed attempt. When I contacted customer service, they said it was because the transaction was "attempted," which doesn't make sense to me. Why should I be charged for a transaction that didn't go through? As someone who has consistently supported this bank, I expected better treatment and a fair resolution. It's disappointing that they prioritize technicalities over customer loyalty. I hope they reconsider their policies regarding failed international transactions and how they treat long-term customers like myself.
