This is the only credit card in Australia that does not have ridiculous fees to get money out of a wall anywhere in the world. I have used this card on six continents totally happily and problem free, while my "emergency backup" card issued by a major Australian bank has both been skimmed / defrauded and failed to work at ATMs in various countries. Additionally 28 Degrees will communicate with their customers online / via email, whereas the major banks insist on customers calling them - which is a huge inconvenience and financial pain if you happen to be in eg El Salvador when your card gets ripped off (as actually happened to me.) This card is quite simply awesome for overseas travellers.

The 28 Degrees card seems perfect at first glance, but after further consideration it's only lukewarm. No international transaction fees and no overseas cash withdrawal fees are advertised, but hold on a second ... what's that little 2 in the corner .... "you may be charged ATM owner fees" And wait, there's more! No Fees for cash advances sounds amazing, especially coupled with the 55 days interest free on purchases, but say you withdraw money from the ATM, "Cash advances are charged interest from the date of withdrawal." Buyer Beware!
