      One positive change that Bankwest made is the revamp of all their stores. The friendly look is inviting and it doesn't represent a typical bank, which is a good thing. I generally would think of banks as a bit of a boring place (just because I am not a fan of finance), but Bankwest is so bright and happy. I think it was a very clever marketing strategy. I am no longer with Bankwest (wasn't really my choice to leave) but I don't think I ever had any issues with customer service or my accounts. A big thumbs up from me!

      No fees on the debit card and linked to on line savings and cheque book-except when you visit the branch, try to pay money or do almost anything that involves face to face contact...you will be charged a fee!!! Interest rate on credit amounts is less than 1% and must be always alert to "fees & charges" Garden variety product with nothing special. Like all of the "big 4" the "help Line" is so far away from a help line it is unrecognisable. Good branches, friendly staff in branches.

      This is a wonderful, no fuss debit card. I don't have to search high and low for a BW ATM as they don't charge fees for using the big 4 ATMs - and they don't have a fee for using EFTPOS, no matter how many transactions you make. This is a no interest account, so it's perfect for someone like me who has money in and out all the time. I love it because it lets me use my own money and doesn't penalise me for doing so. I am a BankWest convert.

      I got a debit card so I wouldn't get charges now I seem to get overdrawn all the time because they don't pay the money to my Billers as soon as I put the money in the bank. The charges are killing me at the moment, I don't earn a lot of money ...       Full review 

      I got a debit card so I wouldn't get charges now I seem to get overdrawn all the time because they don't pay the money to my Billers as soon as I put the money in the bank. The charges are killing me at the moment, I don't earn a lot of money and am on Partial Disability Pension, my husband can't help me, he is struggling to pay the household bills himself and he's on a good wage. We are selling my Clubsport to try and sort out our problems.

      This is my transaction account & I haven't come across any other bank which offers or betters the interest rate if you meet the criteria. The only time I have to visit a branch is to deposit a cheque which may be a couple of times a year so the fact that there are not many branches is not a worry but they are open normal shopping hours including Thursday night & Sunday. The call centre is the best I've come across in any type of business with people who can answer any question. I don't have any dislikes about Bankwest & recommend this bank to anyone.

      I had been to a lot of banks enquiring about their products and what they entail and bankwest was the only bank that sat down with me and explained everything they had to offer and they also asked me two weeks after opening an account with them if i was happy with what they had organised for me. Of course I was, I get friendly face service and my two girls each recieved a colouring book and pencils to use while we were discussing my options. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

      Not only is the debit/credit card a must have for anyone it's also the people at BankWest who really do look after their customers. They rang me when they thought there was a suspicious transaction with my card. Their online banking is easy and very secure and when you do have an inquiry their response is quick. Their branches are to be found everywhere and it's nice to be greeted with a smile.
