We had a query in regard to Term Deposits. We phoned and were kept waiting online for an hour or more - spoke to a customer service person and then referred to a second person - another long wait " will be progressing and will be with you.....". Not sure how long is reasonable - but 1.5 hours is not reasonable. Bankwest needs to lift its game and recognise its customer's time has a value.

Bankwest is a reputable bank from the west Australian people. They have great savings accounts that enables you to totally save money each and every month with a 2.2% interest rate fo their hero saver which is really impressive. However the term deposit was a bit of a let down because it took me 31 days to finally access my money.

Love banking with BankWest if i need to change or add anything they are always there to help very friendly and helpful
I like this bank because living in rural W.A. it is convenient, staff are friendly and helpful and although I would like a better interest rate on my money, I accept that it is just as good as any other bank.
It is sometimes frustrating as we cannot talk to someone direct. It is all online and they only have one branch on the Gold Coast which is far away from us.
