A good bank with a healthy range of options when it comes to term deposits and savings accounts. Great staff who are always helpful.
Local so very happy with that but could offer a better rate which would mean I would not go searching for a better rate, I would stay with them.

If you need to break your fixed term early the rate at which they are permitted to re-evaluate it is criminal, think Ned Kelly in official capacity; highway robbery... - the banks aren't permitted to use such a low interest rate recalculation. Yet BCU say there is no penalty when you sign up, it's just in a different form.....
Staff are very helpful over the counter and the phone, when I wasn't sure what type of account I wanted, they were able to advise what would be best for me, they certainly know their business
I have been with BCU for over 30 years and wouldn't change banks for anything.I have found that their interest rates on term deposits to be very reasonable compared to other banks plus there are no hidden costs or fees. I would highly recomend using BCU for all your banking needs.
There are no pros and cons, just simply a credit union/financial institution that really look after their customers. Especially in the Maclean branch. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
