  It's a credit card! The only way I would ever love it is if it paid me the interest that I managed to build up (not that I need more incentive to do so right now). The fact is, it allows me to pay for those little things that I can't at the time and I can't complain too much about that. As long as I'm sensible I can make it work for me and I do (four free flights a year Virgin! Woo!). I have made mistakes in the past and paid (literally) for it but it's not as if I wasn't pre-warned (thanks Mum).

  Wanted them as a back up card but because I am on PENSION no luck. I told them that I have another card and can credit up to $450000 but still no luck. The Indian call centre people just do not know how things work here in Australia       Full review

  I find this card is so easy to deal with. The interest on my purchases are if not the lowest, are second to none They are the best. I am now using this card for nearly everything. Just great.       Full review

  It's just another credit card. The online portal is too difficult to use. It has too many different access codes, PINs and passwords to access one account. And one of the passwords has to be typed in through an awful graphic keyboard. I end up...       Full review 

  It's just another credit card. The online portal is too difficult to use. It has too many different access codes, PINs and passwords to access one account. And one of the passwords has to be typed in through an awful graphic keyboard. I end up phoning the call center every time I try to log in. I prefer online banking, but Virgin Money have made online banking too difficult to keep track of my money.

  Virgin Money has the worst customer service of any financial entity I have experienced in 40 years. The Manila-based personnel have failed to return calls on at least 8 occasions, failed to respond to on-line emails at Customer Care. Head of Virgin Money Australia has yet to respond to letters over the past two months. Citibank managers need to investigate this mob. Give them the flick !

  The pricing and credit limits are very fair and generous. Customer service is slightly difficult as the company is based overseas, sometimes you are unable to understand the person's accent, other times I think you are speaking to a computer. ATM'...       Full review

  The most generous rewards programs. Free domestic flights per year for my partner. For me 200 000 frequent flyer points. I had to jump through a lot of burning hoops to satisfy their lending criteria. In the finish I chastised them for being so pedantic and cancelled my application. I received a phone call from a young woman who apologised for the way I got jerked around and gave me instant approval. Also a zero percent balance transfer for nine months. This card is not for everyone, but I highly recommend it for those chasing a good rewards card. Good on you, Richard Brandson.

  Pros - online banking and statements that are clear and concise, they had a very competitive interest rate when I first got the credit card (but alot of the other banks now offer similar rates), terms and conditions are explained in laymans english as well as the technical jargon so the customer understands exactly what they're getting into (sometimes it might be dumbed down a bit too much even, but I prefer that than having pages of convoluted jargon that I don't understand). Cons - have since been taken over by Westpac which I haven't had positive dealings with and I try to avoid the big major banks so wasn't impressed when this happened.

  The first great thing about the card is that it has no annual fee (this is obviously only for the base 'model' though) It has a very low interest rate, and the virgin staff are very helpful. I occasionally forgot to pay my bill and rather than just lump me with a late fee they called me up, reminded me, and I payed it straight away and NO FEE. The rewards scheme is simple and easy to use. Overall a good easy to use card. In addition the card itself looks good too, and comes in a range of colours.

  I've only had this card for a short period. I got it because of the flights reward program. I am yet to cash in any of the flights, but I'm hoping it will pay off in the future. Logging onto the online banking is a bit of a performance.       Full review

  One of my first credit cards, I got it with no annual fee (one of the first few to do so), with reasonable interest rate and one of the best interest-free days offers. I never had a problem with billings nor usage. From time to time they offer exclusive offers to cardholders which is cool. It's now being handled by Westpac and so far I have no complaints.
