It is an average product. It does offer free travel insurance and a $129 flight voucher each year, but you have to call them to arrange the voucher which is a bit dodgy on their part. It's like they want you to forget (which I have). You pay for it in the annual fee though.
I wish I looked up these reviews prior to applying for a credit card through virgin money. By far the worst customer service I have ever received by ANY organisation I even get better service from a fast food service than this. If I could rate 0 or below I would. Every person I spoke with gave me different information so you will end up getting handballed from one apartment to another without given the chance to realise you are about to get transferred once again. When I asked to speak with complaints I was then transferred back to the main customer service line. Got through to complaints and they barely tool the time to take note of the service and complaint received because all he wanted to do was provide me with a complaint ID and and brush me off too. Beleive me when I say THEY are not worth you time and energy listen to the other reviews DON'T DO IT
Easy to sign up and be approved. Lacks a bit in comparison by not allowing a digital card to be used immediately
Does what a credit card does. Interest free period could catch you out. Velocity points good
