  When we were building our own home as an owner builder, it was just far too difficult for every other bank to sign us up as a construction loan (and too expensive), whereas RAMS did it easily. We have access to our accounts via internet and phone, we can redraw on our loan as well as offset it against a savings account. Their interest rates are always very competitive and we have had no problems with them at all. Would definitely use them again for our next loan.

  Of course I would prefer discounted interest rate which they considered seriously. Overall, lender has been flexible, professional and offer great interest rates compared to some major financial institutions.       Full review

  Very disappointed with my home loan with Rams. Customer service is very poor, trying to refinance and get away from Rams only to find there is a huge exit fee which I was informed by their broker. did not exist as long as I stay in the loan for at least a year. Otherwise he would not make any money and he would be wasting his time. Rams delayed settlement date which cost me a lot of further expenses. Not a pleasant experience and I cannot recommend Rams to anyone.

  Although Rams offer one of the best interest rates, their annnual fee can make it a more expensive product. Unfortunatley their customer service is terrible. They expect you to get them information at the drop of a hat but when you ask them for something, it takes them weeks to reply or get back to you. Their staff are unfamiliar with products, one staff member will tell you one thing, and another something completely different. I would not recommend Rams to anyone, my experience with rams has been far from pleasant.

  I have a home loan with Rams which is now RHG I have found it difficult to get the good service you would expect. I had looked at changing banks with my loan but their exit fees are ridiculous, While I was having difficulty making payments the women I spoke to told me 'not to bury my head in the sand' which I wasn't I thought very little of this bank after that.

  After 2 years with RAMS we thought we would refinance, as we found our account not in health, we talked to other banks and they couldn't believe Rams hadn't offered us anything to reduce our payments that when up after the honeymoon period. So we applied for refinancing and was declined! To our shock, we have never been declined with anything and our payments on time. We found out it was our statement from rams that reads we are late every month with our payments! How could that be when it comes out of the account?? We are still waiting from this other bank to see if we can refinance Rams do this to make it harder to jump across to other banks! Don't go with Rams

  We signed up with RAMS because they had an awesome line of credit facility that we were interested in but they stuffed it up from the beginning and lodged it as a normal loan and then within 6months sold us out to RHG and we have been sitting on a interest rate of 9.8 for the last 2 years and nearly lost our home because we went through a stage where we couldn't find $2,900 a month I suggest anyone thinking of going with RAMS seriously think of not!

  My loan was with Rams when I got it in 2007 however since the Rams collapse it got split into several different companies. My mortgage went to another third party without being notified and now they charge HUGE interest rates, I highly recommen...       Full review

My mortgage went to another third party without being notified and now they charge HUGE interest rates, I highly recommend people NOT to sign up with Rams as when I was with them they would: 1. Soon as interest rates went up they were quick to action 2. When interest rates dropped they did not pass on the savings to their customers.

  I dislike this product because I recently sold an investment property and changed security for the loan. However, they reduced the amount I can borrow without explaining this properly to me and now want me to pay more fees to increase the loan back to where it was.   Beware of Rams. I lost money due to delayed settlement. Rams decided not to reimburse. Ombudsman needed to resolve. RAMS broker failed to ensure mortgage papers were signed and returned to their Settlements Aust. All started by the broker Angus ...       Full review 

  Beware of Rams. I lost money due to delayed settlement. Rams decided not to reimburse. Ombudsman needed to resolve. RAMS broker failed to ensure mortgage papers were signed and returned to their Settlements Aust. All started by the broker Angus Birch of the Lake Haven Branch advising with the signing of the mortgage papers in his office he took some of the signed documents and gave us a check list for the missing items all bar one he forgot the general terms for the loan. This was the last contact from him until an hour long abusive call followed by another half hour effort, a week after settlement and after receiving my email to him & RAMS resolution centre asking for re-reimbursement, who was also terrible to deal with. Rams have a resolution team which is flooded with calls. Would not return calls, even got lied to, refused reimbursement due to their incorrect and I feel doctored data. All seemed too tidy and well practised to blame someone else. So contacted OMBUDSMAN & got a complete turn around & now Rams are now "re- assessing". Amazing what an independent governing body can do Kept sending paperwork to wrong solicitor up till 2 weeks before settlement Got wrong postal address before and after settlement. Wouldn't help at all to fix their mistake although got an email stating they did which was quickly proven to be lies. He even pretended to have business dealings with my partners' brother who is in real estate, we found this out after signing the papers. Was it worth RAMS fees & commissions for the convenience & service?
