I like the convenience of being able to pay my loan payment online and see exactly how much interest I am being charged. I like the length of term available and the high amount you can borrow unsecured. The Westpac Flexi loan is great. I used it to pay out my credit card. I can now pay off the loan but if I need money for an emergency, I can redraw from the loan. I can pay it off by simply transferring money into the Flexi Loan account and the money is easy to access if required. You do need a certain amount of discipline though otherwise you'll never pay it off if you just keep withdrawing on it! The payment schedule does not allow a monthly payment to be paid in instalments over the monthly period, this is classed as extra payments with the full monthly payment still expected on the due date, it doesn't matter that the amount due has been paid by or before the due date, if they don't receive the payment on the due date then you are charged a late fee.
