      I love everything about my account with Bankwest, bar the high fees that I incur for eftpos and bank transfers. Apart from this I really like banking with them as their customer service is excellent and the online banking is simple to use. I always encourage others to bank with Bankwest as I do believe they are the best banking provider.

      I have had the same bank account for 20 years and would not change to another bank. It may not be fancy or have lots of options and rewards, but it suits my needs and thats all I ask for. Any enquiries I have had to make over the years have always been dealt with quickly and politely and the Bankwest staff have always made it easy for to understand what is happening with my account.

However, you are charged $4 for staff service every time when you deposit at any branch that is strange and rip off policy!!! I have not seen this on the other bank like commonwealth bank , it is free when u deposit money at any branch.

      I was shocked with a Bankwest telephone operator's reply to my query one day. I asked him what deals could he offer if we transferred our mortgage from ANZ to Bankwest, which seemed to be a pretty good question, He replied that because Bankwest has many customers my single mortgage transferal does not warrant any special deals or treatment, he was the person who had made the phone call to me about mortgages. I politely told him what I thought about his attitude and hung up. However we still have various saving accounts with Bankwest which are competitive and good for us, but as for my mortgage it is staying where it is .

      The BankWest Zero Transaction account is great. While interest is not paid on the balance, the fees are virtually non-existent. Use of the BankWest ATM network is unlimited, and use of any ATM run by the Big 4 is also free. A $100 overdraft facility has also been handy in those situations where you forget to top up your account. Combined with the home loan feature that allows you unlimited redraw from the home loan and unlimited internet banking transactions, the transaction account allows us to manage our cash flow very carefully.

      Bankwest is a bank I cannot fault offering a decent interest rate on my transaction account providing certain conditions are met with unlimited transactions & no fees. The call centre staff are extremely efficient & helpful if there is a problem which doesn't usually occur. I would highly recommend this bank to anyone.

      I have been a customer for over ten years and still feel like they don't know me or have any interest in me. There seems to be no appreciation of loyalty. On the rare occasions I have not had money in my account when a bill has been taken out, they charge quickly and largely with no consideration. Despite being distant and seemingly disinterested in me as a customer, they don't harrass me and they provide good customer service.
