I have been with Bankstown City Credit Union since they first opened up. I have had a personal loan during that time and they were excellent when I made a few late payments. They never made me pay any extra for defaulting, they also gave $500 in a bonus for staying on when they merged with Unity Union and also their customer service is exceptional than any other bank as they go above and beyond to help. For example, there have been a few times I've needed a years worth of statements and never ever have they charged me. They where more than willing to print it out for me even though I have the Bank App and could've done it myself. I could keep on praising them but my memory isn't as good as it use to be.

Excellent customer service

I needed a personal loan, I didn't have much or any savings, but when I went to the Bankstown Credit Union and explained my situation and I had been to the Commonwealth Bank which knocked me back cause I had a bad saving history , the Bankstown Credit Union had no problem in accepting my claim , as long I would allow direct debit from my pay , and they gave me 5 years to pay it .
