Fans have been patiently waiting for the story of Daisy Jones & The Six to be adapted and brought to the screen - and finally the wait is over!

The first three episodes of season 1 were released last Friday (3 March) and new episodes will continue to be released weekly.

Daisy Jones & The Six was first a novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid and is a cult favourite that has sold over one million copies since its release in 2019. It was also named a New York Times Best Seller.

The new TV series stars actors Riley Keough as Daisy Jones and Sam Clafin as Billy Dunne, and the book was adapted by Scott Neaustader and produced alongside Reece Witherspooon.

The show is exclusively available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.

What is Daisy Jones & The Six about?

The book tells the story of fictional rock band, The Six who rose to fame in the 1970s.

After their first hit album, the band recruits socialite and up and coming singer Daisy Jones to join them.

The story explores different relationships, including the bond between brothers, complexities between band members, as well as forbidden romantic relationships. It also tackles the intensity of alcohol and drug addiction and the way they can impact every aspect of a person's life.
