Bonus points and balance transfers: a roundup of some of the latest credit card offers this March
Whether it’s the chance to snatch up a few freebies, a last resort measure for unexpected purchases or the opportunity to blast debt, credit cards can mean different things for many Aussies.
And if you’ve been holding out for a hot offer that aligns with your spending needs, we’ve got good news! During February, our database recorded a handful of brand new credit card offers from bonus points to balance transfers that may tickle your fancy.
Bonus points
Credit card giant, American Express increased the bonus points offers on its Qantas Ultimate credit card from 55,000 to 100,000 bonus points, so long as customers spend $3,000 within the first three months of approval.
Bank of Melbourne, Bank SA and St.George also slightly raised their bonus points offer on the Amplify Platinum from 50,000 to 60,000 Qantas Points, while Westpac changed its Altitude Black offer for bonus Qantas Points from 100,000 to a whopping 150,000.

Balance transfers
If you’ve got lingering debt, CUA extended its balance transfer period on both its Low Rate and Platinum credit card from 13 months to 18 months.
Coles also made adjustments on its No Annual Fee and Rewards Mastercard card, stretching its balance transfer period from 6 to 18 months.
