Tic:Toc goes back-to-back with second straight Online Home Lender of the Year Award

Defending a title is never easy, but online home loans provider Tic:Toc has done just that by winning the major 2020 Mozo Experts Choice Award title of Online Home Lender of the Year for a second year running.

Since its launch in 2017 the Adelaide-based fintech has made quite an impression on the Mozo expert judges, having already taken out a Home Loan Innovation Award for its speedy home loan application process in 2018, as well as the major Online Home Lender of the Year Award in 2019.

And this year was no different.

In addition to being named Online Lender of the Year, Tic:Toc also performed impressively across the board. The lender’s Fixed and Variable Home Loans took out six other 2020 Mozo Experts Choice Awards, including for best:

  • - Fixed Rate Home Loan

  • - Investor Fixed Home Loan

  • - Low Cost Home Loan

  • - First Home Buyer Loan

  • - Investor Home Loan

  • - Offset Home Loan

Tic:Toc was one of the 86 Australian lenders considered in this year’s awards. In fact, Mozo’s experts analysed well over 400 different home loans as part of the judging process with the top 10% of products in each award category typically named as winners^.

“With seven awards under their belt, there’s no doubt that Tic:Toc were one of the most successful lenders in this year’s Mozo Experts Choice Home Loan Awards,” said Expert Judge, Peter Marshall.

“Winning the Online Provider of the Year Award for a second straight year is no mean feat either, especially given how competitive the online space is.”

“Given the number of online lenders on the market, not to mention the impact recent RBA reductions have had on fueling competition, the fact that Tic:Toc has managed to shine through yet again speaks volumes.”

What sets Tic:Toc apart?

One of the main standout points across the Tic:Toc home loans suite is its competitive interest interest rates.

For instance, the Tic:Toc Variable Home Loan with its 2.54% variable rate (2.55% comparison rate*) for owner occupiers making principal and interest repayments is currently one of the lowest variable rates in the Mozo database, sitting 1.13% above the current Mozo average of 3.67%.

Aside from rates, the other string to the Tic:Toc bow is its online application process. As you’d expect from an online lender, Tic:Toc has aimed to make the process of applying for a home loan both faster and more convenient.

As we mentioned above, Tic:Toc actually took out the 2018 Mozo Experts Choice Award for Home Loan Innovation for its speedy home loan approval process - a process which it says can  deliver a home loan (with a contract) in just 58 minutes.
