From time to time, Mozo's Experts are called upon to assess a new product that wasn't included when the last Mozo Experts Choice Awards were awarded, or to assess whether a limited-time offer or a product feature is among the best. Here's the list of assessments performed, where the product or feature was considered to be a strong offer for customers and was endorsed with a Mozo Expert Rated badge.
Mozo Expert Rated badges recognise new products, great limited-time offer or innovative features that are at the leading edge of the market. Based on rigorous analysis by Mozo’s Experts, they give you an assurance that there’s something genuine behind the marketing claims. If it’s not among the best, we won’t endorse it.
The Mozo Expert Rated badges are a companion to the Mozo Experts Choice Awards, which are held once every 12 months for each category.
Potiki
While they were not included in the original assessment, the Mozo Experts have assessed Potiki against the MECA winners and determined that if it had been included in our assessment, it would have been an award winner in the Exceptional Quality Pet Insurance and Exceptional Value Pet Insurance categories. The judges have therefore issued Potiki with two Mozo Expert Rated badges.

Mozo did not assess Transport Mutual’s Personal Loans as part of the Mozo Experts Choice Awards for Personal Loans in 2019. The Mozo Experts have now assessed them against the winners and determined that its FastRoad New Car Loan would have been a winner in the Car Loan category, if it had been included in our original assessment.
Therefore, Transport Mutual’s Fast Road New Car Loan product has been issued a Mozo Expert Rated badge.

Mozo did not assess Knose Pet Insurance as part of the Mozo Experts Choice Awards for Pet Insurance in 2019.
The Mozo Experts have assessed Knose Pet Insurance against the MECA award winners and determined that if it had been included in our assessment, it would have been an award winner in the Exceptional Quality Pet Insurance category. Therefore, Knose Pet Insurance has been issued a Mozo Expert Rated badge.

ING Travel Insurance launched in August 2019, after the 2019 winners of the Mozo Experts Choice Awards in Travel Insurance had been determined.
The Mozo Experts have assessed ING Travel Insurance against the award winners and determined that its Last Minute cover would have been an award winner in the Exceptional Value Basic Travel Insurance category. Therefore, ING Travel Insurance has been issued a Mozo Expert Rated badge.

Mozo's experts have examined Athena's existing customer guarantee and loyalty bonus and found them to be an uncommon promise in the home loan market, worthy of recognition. In addition to rewarding existing customers with a loyalty discount each year for up to 5 years, Athena will automatically lower the rate for existing customers if they ever do so to attract new customers. These features ensure that existing customers get Athena's best rates.
