2019 Mozo People’s Choice Awards: Australia’s favourite night in

With those breezy autumn evenings quickly becoming icy winter nights, you’re probably getting ready to go into hibernation for the next three months. So, if you’re looking to trade those nights out for nights in, then boy have we got the thing for you!

We’ve just announced the winners of the 2019 Mozo People’s Choice Awards, along with a bunch of new and exciting categories, including ‘Movie and TV Streaming’, ‘Food Delivery’ and ‘Online Wine and Alcohol,’ all fit for that perfect night in! 

After all, what’s a night in without a good movie, something yummy to keep your belly warm, and a glass of red wash it down? So, without further ado, we give you Australia’s favourite night in.

Movie & TV Streaming:

If free-to-air just ain’t cutting it anymore, but you’re super old school and don’t know the first thing about online movie streaming, we’ve got your back. In 2019, there are more online movie streaming services around then there are movies. So it’s not too difficult to get lost in a sea of options!

To help you navigate the waters a little better, we went straight to the horse's mouth and asked thousands of Aussies which online movie and TV streaming services they loved.

In a battle against Stan, Fetch, Hayu and other fierce competitors, there was one player that surpassed them all with flying colours - it’s official Aussies LOVE to Netflix and chill!  Netflix took home all 5 awards in our brand new ‘Movie & TV Streaming’ category, including:

  • ‘Outstanding Customer Satisfaction’
  • ‘Range of Programming’
  • ‘Functionality’
  • ‘New Releases’
  • ‘Most Recommended’

Food Delivery:

No movie night is complete without something delicious to munch on! Which brings us to our next new Mozo People’s Choice Awards ‘Food Delivery’ category.

As we said, it’s a digital world baby! If we had a dollar for every time a new food delivery service popped up, we’d be changing our name from Mozo to Motza! So, once again, to save you the hassle of testing each one yourself, we thought we’d let the people do the talking.

Menulog:

Did somebody say, Menulog? Of the thousands of Aussies who voted in the 2019 Mozo People’s Choice Awards, they certainly had a lot to say about Menulog! In fact, Menulog won the awards for ‘Outstanding Customer Satisfaction’, ‘Delivery Service’ and ‘Most Recommended’, so the proof is in the pudding with this one!

Uber Eats:

And when Aussies aren’t ordering from Menulog, they’re scoffing down a whole lotta Uber Eats! Uber Eats won two 2019 Mozo People’s Choice Awards in the new ‘Food Delivery’ category for ‘Range of Products’ and ‘Online Ordering Experience’.

So, if you’re looking for a smooth process when ordering your next poke bowl or are just after an endless range of options, then we'd say, "tonight, you'll be eating" Uber Eats!

If you really want to really chill out by adding a little wine to your night, you’re in luck! We’ve just launched our brand new Mozo People’s Choice Awards ‘Online Wine and Alcohol’ category, and with a total of 4 winners, you’ll be spoilt for choice!
