March 2024 Financial Checklist
So long summer – hello autumn! From International Women's Day to Easter and everything in between, March is set to be a busy month. Luckily for you, your fave financial checklist is here to help get you through!
I give you your March 2024 Financial Checklist:
1. #InspireInclusion this International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day is coming up on Friday, the 8th of March, 2024. This year’s theme, “Inspire Inclusion”, is about striving for a gender-equal world free from bias, stereotypes and discrimination.

2. Get egg-cited for Easter!
Easter’s coming early this year, so now’s the time to get organised! This year, Easter Sunday is on the 31st of March, so if you’re hosting this year’s family lunch and Easter egg hunt eggs-travaganza, you might want to get a start on the shopping.
Catering for kids with food allergies? Mozo’s allergy-aware Easter egg guide is your new best friend.
In terms of decor, don’t be afraid to dabble in some DIY to give things a personal touch and avoid any unnecessary spending.
3. Easter Show-proof your budget
Speaking of Easter, it’s nearly time for the annual Sydney Royal Easter Show! This year, the Easter Show will run from Friday, the 22nd of March, to Tuesday, the 2nd of April 2024.
A day at the show can be notoriously expensive. So, if you plan to go, be sure to budget for tickets, showbags, rides, food and anything else you might like to buy. Remember to look for discounted entry tickets or family passes to save some cash, and set a spending limit so you don’t blow the bank.
4. Manifest some financial luck this St. Patrick’s Day
With St Patrick’s Day coming up on Sunday, the 17th of March 2024, you might be wondering when some of that “luck of the Irish” will rub off on you. While we can’t tell you where to find a pot of gold, we can tell you that financial luck often comes down to good financial practices.
Make it a habit to regularly check in with your various financial products to see whether you could be getting a better deal – whether that’s on your home loan or savings account interest rates.
5. Follow your gut this Pisces season
Happy birthday, Pisces! According to our mystical Mozo magic 8-ball, March is your time to shine creatively. Be sure to listen to your gut when it comes to career moves and new creative pursuits – particularly those that involve making financial decisions.
Whether you’re planning on taking out a new business loan to fund an exciting new project or you’re considering taking up some new investment opportunities, consider all your options and carefully assess what’ll suit you best.
Well, that’s another financial checklist done and dusted. Same time and place next month for your April 2024 Financial Checklist, folks! Until then, you can go and check out our life and money hub.
