Tangerine to launch new & improved mobile roaming packs
Staying connected while overseas just got easier, folks! Starting this Friday, the 21st of July 2023, Tangerine customers will be able to enjoy bigger mobile data roaming allowances with longer durations while travelling internationally.
Here’s a look at what’s on offer with the telco provider’s new international roaming packs:

Tangerine will replace its existing roaming add-on packs with two new offers: A 7-day pack that comes with 5GB of data for $5 and a 14-day pack that offers 10GB for $55. A real upgrade from Tangerine’s current 5-day pack, which comes with 1GB for $25, and its 10-day pack, which comes with 2GB for $50.
Tangerine's new roaming packs will be available to use in the following 64 countries:
Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guernsey (UK), Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Isle of Man (UK), Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Samoa, Singapore, Slovak Republic, South Africa, South Korean, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Tonga, Turkey, UK, USA, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.
“We understand that customers still want to keep in touch with family and friends via WhatsApp, upload to Instagram, avoid getting lost with Google Maps and stream the latest music on Spotify, so that's why we've introduced these new allowances,” said More and Tangerine CEO Andrew Branson.
“Our new and improved international roaming packs are designed to provide our customers with enhanced data capabilities and extended durations, ensuring they can enjoy a more reliable overseas mobile experience. The new packs come with a higher amount of included data, providing better value per GB of data.”
Tangerine’s roaming travel packs are a once-off add-on for which you’ll need a Tangerine mobile plan to opt in for. Here are some of Tangerine’s current plans on offer:
