Australia Post named Australia's Best Home & Contents Insurer after the analysis of 160,000 insurance quotes

Today, Mozo is excited to unveil the winners of the Mozo Experts Choice Awards for Home Insurance 2024, spotlighting the insurers that stand out in Australia for offering exceptional value and quality policies for homeowners.

Mozo’s analysis of the home insurance landscape included reviewing 160,000 home and contents insurance quotes from 32 providers, across 55 policies. Focusing on identifying insurers that excelled in providing homeowners with either the best value or highest quality policies, the awards looked at both the cost and coverage inclusions.

Australia Post was crowned Australia’s Best Home & Contents Insurer, earning accolades in both the Exceptional Value and Exceptional Quality categories, underscoring Australia Post's dedication to providing exceptional insurance.

In determining the award winners, Mozo’s analysis examined a wide range of critical factors that contribute to quality, including protection against accidental breakage of glass, flood coverage, and accidental loss and damage cover. 

Mozo experts also considered essential aspects like away-from-home coverage, temporary accommodation expenses, rebuilding costs, lock replacement cover and emergency storage.
