Secure your future: Mozo names the top super funds for 2026

Today, Mozo is thrilled to announce this year’s top superannuation funds in the Mozo Experts Choice Awards for Superannuation. The experts at Mozo broke down the numbers on 658 investment options to find which super funds can help Aussies maximise their retirement savings. 

“Selecting the right super fund can be an afterthought for many Australians. A lot of us are guilty of picking a fund and forgetting about it. But with recent economic uncertainty, now is a great time to reassess our super funds and make sure our savings are being maximised,” says AJ Duncanson, Mozo’s Data Director and Mozo Experts Choice Awards Judge.

The Mozo Experts Choice Awards for Superannuation help Australians find the right super fund for their individual needs. With 15 different award categories, the awards cover a wide range of preferences and priorities.

“To find the winners, experts analysed 658 investment options. The winners were split into categories based on how they ranked on either net returns over a period of time, or on aggregate fees,” explains Duncanson.

Hostplus named Australia's Best Super Fund for 2026 

“Hostplus is this year’s big winner as they are crowned Australia's Best Super Fund for 2026.

Hostplus was a clear winner in the Exceptional MySuper category and also took out wins in the Exceptional Super for Gen X and Millennial fund-level categories. Additionally, seven of its options were recognized across the Low Fee categories. Their strong performance is well deserving of recognition,” says Duncanson.
